Our Favorite Things: July 2016
While we try to spend our summer days outdoors at one of our favorite Tennessee hiking trails, we’re just as guilty as the next guy of spending the occasional long morning browsing websites in bed. Whether you’re looking for some home décor inspiration or just want a good laugh, here are some of our favorite things that we found around the web this month.
This town house on the Spanish island of Mallorca
We'll always be loyal to our Southwestern patterns and Art Deco vibes, but we’re really loving this clean, minimal townhouse in Spain that More Design recently renovated. That square fireplace and those plant-filled terraces had us dreaming of hopping a plane to Spain all month long.
We recently spent a weekend in Louisville for Forecastle Festival, and we can’t stop thinking about the city’s historic homes and killer bourbon spots. We stayed at the Brown Hotel (and tried its namesake sandwich), played some ping pong at Garage Bar and spent a morning before the festival exploring the Highlands neighborhood.
This Basil Peach Bourbon Smash
We’re always on the hunt for the perfect summer cocktail, and this one seems to fit the bill. We can’t wait to make a fresh batch as soon as the work week is through.
The return of Nashville’s Live on the Green
It’s no secret that Nashville is full of awesome (and often free) music events, but Live on the Green just may be the best of the year. We can’t wait to check out Dawes, Kurt Vile and Young the Giant when the series starts on August 11.
This incredible pup.
Rough day? This will help.
